More AEDs Donated

AED

We’re excited to say that we recently donated 5 AEDs to these organizations:

  1. Conklin Forks United Methodist Church (Binghamton, NY)
  2. Davis College (Johnson City, NY)
  3. Maine Emergency Squad (Maine, NY)
  4. Village of Oxford Police Department (Oxford, NY)
  5. Zion Episcopal Church (Greene, NY)

All the organizations completed the state- and county-required paperwork and are committed to being prepared in a cardiac emergency by getting CPR/AED trained.

Every second counts during a cardiac arrest. According to the American Heart Association, more than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur annually in the United States. Immediate CPR can double, or even triple, a victim’s chance of survival. Having an AED readily available can make the difference between life and death.

We’re proud of these organizations for prioritizing safety within their organization and helping to make our community safer for everyone.

Visit John’s Foundation to see a list of additional organizations that have received AEDs from the John Mack Foundation.

To request an AED for your non-profit organization, submit an AED Request.

We’re also happy to work with groups that have funds to purchase an AED outright. We can obtain the AEDs and peripherals (i.e., batteries, adult and pediatric pads) and pass them along at our cost meaning significant savings for your group. We’ve done this recently with a number of organizations including St. Joseph’s Church (Endicott, NY) and the Knights of Columbus #206 (Binghamton, NY). Contact us today!
