The “John Mack Southern Tier Shootout Lacrosse Tournament” is this weekend (8AM to 7PM Saturday, 2/11 and 8AM to 4PM Sunday, 2/12) at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex at 1500 Airport Rd in Binghamton, NY.

90 teams, from across the Northeast, and as far south as Charlotte, North Carolina, will be competing in the largest indoor lax tourney in the world. The tournament includes both boy’s and girl’s divisions. Players range in age from 3rd & 4th grade up to Grand Master (men 45- to 70-years young).

The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the John Mack Foundation and will allow us to donate more AEDs to help prevent sudden cardiac death. John Mack died ten years ago at the age of 17 while playing in a lacrosse game at a facility that did not have an AED. To learn more about John, read John Mack’s story.
