Hundreds of people got dirty for a cause by running in the “Colors of Independence 5K” at Highland Park on Monday, July 4, 2016. Proceeds of the event benefitted the John Mack Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to fighting cardiac arrest deaths by donating automated external defibrillators (AEDs) within the community.
